About Garrett Booth

Hi!

I am Garrett Booth, a young composer from Mobile, Alabama where I attend the University of South Alabama studying Music Education. 

Composing music has always been a passion of mine ever since i first joined band in middle school. I would play around with melodies and some strange instrumentation, but never really produced anything worth while.

I eventually stopped composing all together when I discouraged myself by thinking I would never make any significant works. It was not until college when I was tasked with composing a piece for a class which finally brought me back to a passion I thought I had lost.

A huge "Thank You!" to my professors at South Alabama for helping regain this passion of mine so that I might express my creativity in music!
